Niccolò

Nicco (the name by which he is better known) counts with 16 years of guiding experience.

In the USA he guided in Montana for 4 years.

In Argentina, he started guiding 12 years ago and continues to do so, while in Italy he his entering his 7th season.

He owns Fly Fishing Top in Florence and has fly-fished since the age of 8.

Alessandro

Alessandro was born in Florence on July 9, 1971.

He practices fly fishing since 1988 and became a fly fishing professional in 1991, achieving his highest professional level in the year 2000 when he was called-up to the Italian National Fly Fishing Team.

He obtained the Gold Medal for individual results at the 2002 European Championship held in Belgium, and the fourth place in Portugal, in 2006.

He currently is the Captain of Fly Fishing Italy Team

Alessandro counts with a vast experience in locations throughout Europe and the rest of the World such as France, Slovenia, Belgium, Finland, Argentina, amongst others.

And his knowledge about the different Italian rivers is outstanding.

He practices all types of fly fishing such as dry, nymphing, wet, streamer, amongst other techniques.

Since 2002, he is a fly fishing professional guide.

Gianluca

Gianluca

Gianluca grew up in Florence, starting fishing in the Arno river as a small boy with his father.
With his friends, some of them Fly Fishing Italy guides now, he discovered fly fishing at the age of 20, and his determined commitment to the Brown Trout earned him the nickname of “Brown”.

Enjoying fly fishing also includes taking care of the local rivers and streams, and helping out in the spawning season: in 2002 members of the Fly Fishing Italy guiding team were contracted to taking care of a 5 km stretch of the Sieve River, having previously shown their skills in fly fishing management at the Lock Style Lake,both ongoing responsibilities.

As a member of the Fly Fox fishing team, he has travelled the length of Italy, from the rivers up north to the rivers down south, earning points in National competitions for his team and himself.
He has fished in Switzerland, Australia and Argentina.

He enjoys being on the water, and revels in the client/guide experience.
