Scoltenna River

This river is situated high over the town of Lucca, on the other side of Abetone, the most popular Florentine ski resort. It is a mountain stream that runs through boulders into deep holes. The area is a perfect place for hiking/fly-fishing adventures or hunting in crystal clear waters for very nice Alpine Trout.Close to 90% of total fishing is carried out with big dry flies and attractors. This river is also managed under fly-fishing only regulations.
